We are looking for an experienced and talented Banqueting and Events Manager to join our fantastic venue.

The Role
As Banqueting Manager, your role will include:
Carrying out all daily operations of the Conference and Banqueting areas.
Ensuring there is open communication at all times between the operational team and sales team.
Providing prompt, attentive service to all guests at all times.
Ensuring that all front of house areas are well presented and that maintenance work carried out by the in-house team is up-to-date.
Conducting relevant stock takes and equipment inventory as required.
Liaising with guests and dealing with any complaints as necessary.
Encouraging teamwork, cooperation, productivity, and a positive attitude within the working environment.
Completing all necessary daily reports and departmental banking.
Producing department rotas and ensuring that daily staffing levels are in line with business levels and in accordance with budgeted ratios.
Ensuring all procedures regarding costs, wastage, breakages, security, and stock control are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
Meeting all required standards and procedures of the company.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
Hold the appropriate food safety certificate.
Personal license holder.
Experience in a Master of Ceremonies role.
Experience in a similar role.
Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
The ability to communicate at all levels.
A strong commercial awareness.
Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
