Connect Grp UK Ltd is proud to be working on behalf of our esteemed client, an established Interior Fit-Out company based in Dorset, who is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Banksman. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, focusing on ensuring safety and efficiency on the construction site. The position is available for a duration of 6 months, providing a competitive hourly rate of GBP19.

Requirements:
  • Valid CPCS Banksman certification.
  • Proven experience in a Banksman role, preferably within the construction or interior fit-out sector.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage site traffic to ensure the safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians.
  • Assist in the movement of materials and equipment around the site.
  • Monitor the site for safety violations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with site management and team members to coordinate operations efficiently.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Help with general labouring duties and muck in where needed.
