Banking and Finance Solicitor (6+ PQE) - Ipswich

Are you an experienced Banking and Finance solicitor looking to take the next step in your career? An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a thriving team in Ipswich. You will join a highly successful and growing Banking and Finance team, led by a leading Partner. With a focus on expanding the firm's offering into the Southeast of England, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and developing the Banking and Finance presence for the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, negotiating, and agreeing finance documentation such as facility agreements and security documents (using both LMA and the firm's own precedents)
• Preparing ancillary documents like fee letters, undertakings, and corporate authorities
• Managing transactions and collaborating with other team members on larger deals
• Driving business development efforts to enhance the firm's Banking and Finance footprint in the region

About You
We are looking for a Senior Associate with at least 6+ years PQE and a strong background in Banking and Finance. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A desire to grow a practice and build relationships with clients and business partners
• Excellent experience in handling a wide variety of Banking and Finance matters, including syndicated and bilateral lending, property finance, acquisition finance, and more
