Please note: you need to be a fully qualified Staff Nurse with a UK pin and completed preceptorship.
You will have opportunities for triaging if not already doing so, planning, delivering and evaluating the personalised health and wellbeing care needs of children and their families in line with the Trust's Values & Nursing & Midwifery Professional Framework goals for example: vital signs and PEWS, early recognition and management of acutely ill children, safe transportation, fluid intake monitoring, ECGs, wound dressings, plaster casts, catheterisation, venepuncture, cannulation, blood transfusion, palliative and terminal care, care of central lines, admission and discharge.
Our fantastic team consists of 19 Consultants, 5 Advanced Nurse Clinicians, a team of Emergency Nurse Practitioners, experienced emergency Nurses both adult and child, Trauma Technicians and Healthcare assistants.
