Are you passionate about caring for people with lower limb wounds and keen to develop your knowledge in this exciting area?
We are looking for a staff nurse to join the bank within our Lower Limb Clinic which is an integral part of our Tissue Viability Service. The post will mainly be based within the Lower Limb Clinic at Surbiton Health Centre.
The successful candidate will be joining a small, friendly, dedicated team who deliver nurse led, high quality and evidence-based care to patients with lower limb wounds in a clinic setting. The clinic achieves excellent healing rates for patients with venous leg ulcers and also treats patients with complex ulcers of other aetiologies and promotes supported self-care where appropriate. Patients report consistently high levels of satisfaction with care and treatment. The clinic also provides training and education in leg ulcer management to pre- and post-registration nurses.
Some knowledge and experience of wound assessment and leg ulcer management is required, but support will be provided to develop your skills in tissue viability.
You will be an effective communicator who is able to work well as part of a team.
This is a bank post for up to 37.5 hours per week. The clinic operates between 08.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
You will be mostly based at Surbiton Health Centre although you will also need to be able to travel to our other sites as needed.

£34,521 to £41,956 a year per annum pro rata, includes HCAS.
