An established healthcare provider is seeking dedicated Bank Specimen Reception Medical Laboratory Assistants to join their team. This role involves supporting the Specimen Reception Service, ensuring effective sample reception and distribution for the Pathology Laboratory. Candidates must be flexible, participating in various shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays. Ideal applicants will possess experience in NHS specimen reception and have strong communication and data entry skills. We are looking to recruit a number of Band 2 Bank Specimen Reception Medical Laboratory Assistants to support the Specimen Reception Service in providing an effective sample reception and distribution for the Pathology Laboratory.
Candidates must be prepared to work flexibly including participation in a shift pattern which includes early, late, weekend, Bank Holiday and other out of hours rotas as required.
The post will be based at Leighton Hospital or Macclesfield Hospital to be registered on UHNM Pathology Bank. This is a zero hours, bank position to cover as and when required.
