An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Diagnostics Radiographer for their Mobile X-Ray Service. This role involves traveling across the South of England to deliver exceptional X-Ray services in various prison settings. The ideal candidate will possess a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, be HCPC registered, and have experience in delivering patient care. You will work closely with clinical teams to ensure high standards of service and patient safety. Join us as Diagnostics Radiographer at our Mobile X-Ray Service, a nationwide service based in Prisons.
You will travel from Devon and Cornwall to East Kent, covering prisons across the South of England.
You will be working closely & supporting the Clinical Lead Radiographer to deliver efficient X-Ray services at our prison sites, ensuring exemplary levels of service are upheld for patients, referrers, and the clinical team.
For this position, you should hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, be HCPC registered, and have prior experience post-registration.
The ideal candidate is required to have the ability to work independently, possess good communication and interpersonal skills. This role will require you to be flexible in your approach to work and have availability to cover shifts at short notice.
In this varied Radiographer role, you will demonstrate your highest level of patient care while providing a comprehensive and effective high-quality X-Ray service for private and NHS clients. Ensuring that all X-Ray referrals are evaluated and prioritized according to Healthshare Diagnostics clinical protocols and clinical information. This includes making sure medical exposures are carried out in accordance with Healthshare Diagnostics Radiation Safety (Medical Exposure) Policy and acting as a Practitioner, carrying out justification of exposures where required.
