Your role will assist the service in providing an efficient, flexible, and customer-focused porter service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across all sites, which will provide a comprehensive, planned, and reactive Porter Service that is reliable, helpful, efficient, and responsive to the needs of Patients, Trust staff, and visitors.
You will accept and undertake work allocated through the task management system using a hand-held device, which will involve such tasks as patient movement, distribution, stores, furniture, equipment, pharmacy, meals, pathology items, blood products, waste, movement of deceased, confidential waste, post, and laundry around the Hospital site as required.
