Job Description:

Senior Physiotherapist – Bank – Outpatients weekdays/evenings

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Department at West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. The post will require you to work in the outpatient department 1 or 2 days a week / evenings. This is a bank position.

The Hospital has a 30 bedded mixed inpatient case load which includes orthopaedics, gynae and general surgery. The newly refurbished Physiotherapy department has 4 private treatment cubicles, a large gymnasium, and a team office. The outpatient work consists of private patients, GP referrals, self-referrals, and NHS patients. Hydrotherapy and Pilates services are also run through the physiotherapy department at offsite clinics.

If interested in working in outpatients, the ideal candidate will need to be experienced and competent in Musculoskeletal outpatient assessment and treatments. Acupuncture skills are preferable, but not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness to work positively and effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to participate in clinical audit and utilise outcome measures
