Job description

This temporary Bank Nurse role at The Copse in Weston Super Mare offers you the flexibility to work the shifts you want, with an hourly rate of up to £18.50 plus a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift. You'll provide high-quality care to men and women with mental health conditions, supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. With a two-week paid induction, app-based shift booking, and a range of benefits, this is an excellent opportunity for UK Registered Nurses (RMN, RNLD) to gain experience in a rehabilitation setting.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with mental health conditions, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. You'll have the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week, with 12.5-hour standard shifts available 24/7. The service focuses on active rehabilitation to help service users progress into future community placements.

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts at The Copse secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.
