Job Introduction
Bank Healthcare Assistant - attractive remuneration package! We have opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join England’s leading Primary Care Provider’s Bank division, supporting colleagues and practices across London with continuity of care for patients during periods of absence and annual leave.

Main Responsibility

Keys duties will include:

  1. To assist with patient duties as required and support other team members.
  2. To assist the NP/PN and/or Registered Manager with duties related to CQC outcomes, ensuring compliance is maintained.

The Ideal Candidate

Interested? What you will need to be considered:

  1. Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy is essential.
  2. An understanding of confidentiality is required and the ability to use own judgment.
  3. The post holder must be an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  4. The post holder must be well presented and wear a uniform in line with Operose Health requirements.
  5. Must be able to relay clinical information clearly.
  6. Must have PC skills ideally will be able to use basic Word, Excel and e-mail.
  7. Must be comfortable with following processes/procedures.
  8. Should be personable, polite and patient.
  9. Needs to have an empathy with patients, some of whom may not be so patient or polite due to anxiety.
  10. Ability to remain calm in sometimes fraught circumstances.
  11. Needs to be sensitive when dealing with confidential issues.
  12. Needs to apply common sense when dealing with situations which do not fit the norm.
  13. Must be adaptable and comfortable dealing with changing priorities and be a team player.
  14. Must be able to assess their own competency.
  15. Must be aware of the professional boundaries they are working to and highlight any areas of required development.
