- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 6 months (possibility of extension)
- Rate of Pay: £33 - £37 per hour (PAYE)

What You'll Be Doing

Join our team as a Band 8a Pharmacist / Manager and play a key role in improving patient care within an NHS Trust. In this role, you will:

1. Provide pharmacy services for the rehab ward, ensuring high-quality patient care
2. Supervise and support pre-registration pharmacists, providing guidance and mentorship
3. Undertake management duties including team coordination and ensuring efficient workflow
4. Manage office-based administrative work related to pharmacy services
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and medication management
6. Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, regulations, and best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A qualified pharmacist with valid GPhC registration
2. Previous experience in pharmacy management or a similar supervisory role
3. Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably with rehabilitation wards
4. Strong communication and leadership skills
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
6. Organisational skills with attention to detail

Working Hours & Contract Duration

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break). The contract is for 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
