Are you a Band 8a Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Coventry? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Locum Band 8a Pharmacist
Location: Coventry - NHS Hospital
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £33 - £37 per hour (PAYE)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Band 8a Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of oncology and haematology patients. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide specialist pharmaceutical care for oncology/haematology patients
  2. Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise medication therapy
  3. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe prescribing practices
  4. Offer expert advice to clinicians and other healthcare professionals
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service improvements

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration
  2. Prior NHS oncology/haematology pharmacy experience
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
