We are currently looking for a UK qualified accountant to work as a Senior Management Accountant for the corporate directorates.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with senior managers and directors within the corporate directorates, providing financial analysis, support, advice, and challenge to help them deliver a financially sustainable service. You will also ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts and forecasts for the corporate directorates within the Trust.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This role will help budget holders to deliver a financially sustainable service, by providing financial analysis, support, advice, and challenge as necessary. The role includes the management of other staff within the Finance department. The role will also ensure budget holders are trained to understand their financial position and support the budget holders with strategic financial queries. This role will support the Deputy Director of Finance and Head of Financial Management & Costing by providing relevant analysis of data to support contract negotiations and other work. This role fits within a busy finance department and will include other Trust wide and ad hoc tasks appropriate to the grade.
