We are now seeking a dedicated and passionate Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Lead to join our team and help continue to shape our vision of a diverse, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
The role will play a key role in driving and embedding EDI initiatives across our hospital, working collaboratively across the people service, management teams, staff networks and wider staff groups to develop and implement strategies that promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for all.
We are therefore looking for a dynamic individual with the drive, experience, and expertise in promoting and developing equality within the workplace.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, with a mixture of site and home working. We are open to discussing any flexible working preferences applicants may have.
The EDI Lead will work with the EDI team and leads across the Trust and wider partnership groups to ensure that the Trust is meeting all the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
This post will lead on key projects to deliver the Trust’s strategic priorities ensuring that we deliver the best staff experience for our people. This post holder will work closely with the Head of Staff Experience, as well as the wider People Directorate and the divisions.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the development of an inclusive culture where we support staff to bring their full selves to work, to feel well, healthy and happy at work.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
