If you are an enthusiastic HCPC registered practitioner psychologist who has BPS accredited doctoral level qualifications and you would like to work in a supportive, friendly, multi-disciplinary environment, then this post would interest you.
Main duties of the job- Liaise with the CMHT and coordinate care as may be appropriate for clients.
- Operate as the Lead Professional for the clients on their caseload and deliver expert assessments (including risk assessments), formulations and psychological treatments.
- Work within evidence-based frameworks and the principles of recovery to support clients and reduce dependence on secondary care mental health services.
- Provide support to Staff within the IPT and the CMHT and participate in clinical quality assurance and learning programmes.
- Be aware of and keep updated on research and advances in psychological therapies.

Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- Effective and competent interpersonal, influencing, communication, observation and reporting skills.
TravelEssential- Candidate should be able to drive and own a car for work purposes.
QualificationsEssential- Qualification in Mental Health Nursing.
- HCPC registration.
