Solihull Hospital delivers in and out of hospital services and provides vital services to communities who rely on us for care and support.

Key to this is the Tissue Viability Community Service - this specialist service provides clinical expertise for both wound prevention and wound healing.

Our community team provides optimum care to improve patient outcomes in wound care and skin integrity to enable effective healing and prevention of reoccurrence.

We do this through delivering specialist assessment and treatment plans and/or educating the community workforce to ensure assessment and care are provided in line with national best practice standards.

After 10 years in post our current Clinical Nurse Specialist Lead for Tissue Viability is open for applications. With the full support of the Directors of Nursing, we are seeking a passionate leader whose clinical skills can harness and facilitate wider community and stakeholder engagement.

If you're motivated by what you have read, you have the experience to make a difference and have a passion to provide the very best care to our patients and support our colleagues, we would love to hear from you. Main Duties of the Job

Through partnership working and the delivery of training and education, you will develop and empower staff in all aspects of tissue viability related care to enable them to deliver the highest standard of holistic care to patients. The team enables community health professionals to become safe, competent, evidence-based practitioners in the prevention and management of wounds. The lead will work as part of the multidisciplinary team with the aim of providing ongoing support to patients with wounds within the community setting as well as preventing admission and supporting early discharge.

You will inspire, influence, and motivate this critical workforce to promote excellence in professional practice and will lead quality and safety standards to ensure our patients continue to receive the very best care.

This is an amazing opportunity within a leadership team who inspire, encourage and support a healthy work-life balance where you can be assured you are listened to and heard.

On joining the team, you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome from the entire Solihull Team -- where you will embrace values of Kind, Connected and Bold, whilst delivering first-class patient care which underpins everything we do.
