Job Title: Band 7/8a Pharmacist

Location: South Wales

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.

Start Date: March - End of June

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £35 - £45 per hour depending on experience.

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist

As a Band 7/8a locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in covering wards and assisting dispensary teams:

1. Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
2. Offering advice to patients on the wards
3. Screening in the dispensary, inpatients, and outpatients
4. Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist.

Strong hospital experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working Hours and Contract Duration

This position is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
