Job Title: Locum Pharmacist Band 7/8a
Location: Berkshire, NHS Hospital
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch), part-time considered
Start Date: March 2025
End Date: 6-month contract, potential extension
Rate of Pay: £24 - £31 per hour via Umbrella, depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing: Join our NHS clients' team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients across general, medical, and surgical wards. In this role, you will:
- Provide pharmaceutical services across general, medical, and surgical wards
- Perform medication reviews and ensure safe and effective use of medicines
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care
- Dispense and manage prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient medication records
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior NHS experience is required
- A current and valid GPhC registration
- Experience working in hospital pharmacy settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a flexible working position, with availability required from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (with 30-minute lunch). Part-time options are available. The contract is for 6 months, with a possibility of extension depending on performance and service needs.
