Job Title: Social Services Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Bournemouth, Hampshire
Working Hours: 21 per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Social Services Occupational Therapist to work for a private client based in Bournemouth, Hampshire. The role is available for a successful Occupational Therapist to start immediately, offering full-time hours per week for a short term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an Occupational Therapist in Social Services, you will assess individuals’ needs and create tailored care plans to enhance their independence in daily activities. You will provide therapeutic interventions, support rehabilitation, and offer expert advice to individuals, families, and carers. You will manage cases, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care. Safeguarding, record-keeping, and community integration are key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will stay up to date with professional development to deliver high-quality care and support to those in need.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Previous experience working in Social care
  • Experience working with Children with physical disabilities
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Needs to be a car driver
