Job Description:

Pulse have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This role is based in Buckinghamshire, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist, you’ll be responsible for the following services: the dispensary, wards/clinical pharmacy services, medicines resource centre including medicines information and aseptic services.

Your main responsibilities as a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist:

Participate to an agreed level in the provision of ward/clinical pharmacy services to clinical areas on a rotational basis, reviewing prescriptions, communicating effectively with appropriate healthcare professionals to solve patient-related medicines management problems, and minimising clinical risk.
Educate patients and carers in all aspects of their drug therapy and medicines management and advise them of any discharge issues.
Record significant information in patients’ prescription and administration records and clinical records to ensure safety in medicines administration.
Prioritise workload in clinical areas to ensure higher priority tasks are dealt with first.
Assist senior pharmacists in the development of clinical pharmacy services.
Seek advice from senior pharmacists as necessary.
