Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of patients with musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualised care plans.
2. Treatment and Rehabilitation: Deliver evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, for a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.
3. Clinical Decision-Making: Make independent, informed treatment decisions and adapt rehabilitation plans based on patient progress, in line with clinical guidelines.
4. Multi-disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, occupational therapists, and orthopaedic specialists to provide integrated, patient-centred care.
5. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about musculoskeletal conditions and self-management strategies to improve recovery and prevent future injuries.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with NHS policies, and document all treatment interventions and outcomes.
7. Service Improvement: Contribute to the advancement of physiotherapy services by participating in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
8. Supervision and Development: Provide mentorship to junior staff and physiotherapy students, and actively pursue professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
