Are you a Band 6 Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Surrey? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
Job Title: Band 6 Pharmacist
Location: Surrey - NHS Hospital
Duration: 4 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 4 months from start (potential to extend)
Rate of Pay: £24 - £26 per hour (PAYE via Direct Engagement)

Join our client's team as a Band 6 Pharmacist and support the hospital dispensary service. In this role, you will:
- Screen and clinically check prescriptions for inpatient wards
- Support the inpatient dispensary with daily operations
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications
- Work collaboratively with other pharmacy staff and hospital teams
- Help maintain service efficiency and patient safety
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration
- Previous NHS hospital experience, ideally in a dispensary setting
- Accuracy Checking qualification is desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Full-time locum position: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Contract length: 4 months
Strong possibility of extension depending on service needs.
