An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Elective Orthopaedic Therapy Team as a Band 6 Physiotherapist at Chase Farm Hospital, within the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
The team is made up of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Support Workers. As a senior member of the team you will work across the elective surgical ward and the day of surgery unit. You will be working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care throughout the patient journey, in line with the principles of enhanced recovery.
Successful candidates will be expected to manage their own clinical caseload effectively, by utilising a high level of clinical reasoning, organisational and prioritisation skills. They must be flexible to fluctuating priorities, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate efficient and effective discharge planning. They will need to apply excellent communication skills with MDT colleagues, including attending daily MDT and other meetings.
The successful candidate will be required to teach, supervise and appraise junior staff and students, whilst being supported by highly experienced band 7 therapists. You will also be expected to have an active role in developing the Elective Orthopaedic service.
This is a fixed term, full time (37.5 hour) position. The post holder will also be required to work bank holidays and weekends, in line with the department's 7-day working policy.

£42,939 to £50,697 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS
