Hourly Rate: £27.00 | Contract Type: Ongoing Locum | Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out comprehensive mental health assessments for service users, collaborating with their families and carers.
  2. Create and implement tailored care plans focused on safety, recovery, and community integration.
  3. Deliver evidence-based interventions in line with NICE guidelines, supporting clients' long-term mental health recovery.
  4. Monitor and review the effectiveness of care plans, making timely adjustments as service users' needs evolve.
  5. Provide clinical expertise, including administering medications and performing nursing procedures in line with NMC standards and Trust policies.
  6. Mentor junior staff and student nurses, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and high-quality care.
  7. Participate in service development activities, including audits, research projects, and policy implementation.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Registration: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
  2. Experience: Proven experience working with adults experiencing mental health issues; prior work within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is highly desirable.
  3. Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the community-based nature of the role.
