Working as part of the Children and Young Peoples Integrated Therapy team under the direction of a Band 6/7 therapist, you will take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role, within a defined area of the service, with and/or without direct supervision as appropriate. Services are provided in a range of settings across Berkshire.
Working autonomously to carry out clinical assessments within your level of clinical knowledge and skill, identifying relevant therapy needs from which you can develop and deliver an individualised management plan, with support from a senior therapist as needed.
Be responsible for accessing required support and mentoring to enable you to undertake your clinical responsibilities and to plan your own caseload from relevant band 6 and 7 staff within their designated Area.
Contribute to and deliver training to schools, parents, CYP and staff, as part of therapy support and delivery.
Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people using evidence-based interventions, and person-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
Undertake clinical sessions, and manage a caseload as required, offering direct assessment, advice, triage, intervention and training and support as required by the new integrated therapy model.
