Are you a Band 5 Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Yorkshire? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Key Job Details:

Job Title: Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
Location: NHS Hospital, Yorkshire location
Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £18 - £21 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in improving patient care within the NHS hospital setting. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform accurate final accuracy checking of dispensed prescriptions
  2. Assist with the supply and distribution of medicines across hospital departments
  3. Work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient care
  4. Ensure compliance with NHS and GPhC regulations
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed medication records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  2. Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
  4. Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
  5. No prior hospital experience required - full training provided!

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This locum role requires full-time availability Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
