Band 5 Community Nurse

NHS
Dartford
GBP 25,000 - 40,000
Job description

Join our dynamic team at Livingstone Community Hospital in Dartford, where you'll be a key part of our dedicated community nursing team, providing exceptional care to patients in their homes or within a clinic setting. We empower our staff to thrive with autonomy and flexibility, offering cutting-edge tablets to help you stay connected, update patient notes on the go, and eliminate the need to be tied to an office. This means you can truly embrace the freedom and satisfaction of working in your community!

As this is a community-based role, you'll need a valid UK driving licence and access to a car. Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of those you care for. Come be a part of something rewarding and transformative!

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

Main duties of the job

As a Community Nurse you will care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work to help us continue to change things for the better. We feel passionate that everyone should feel valued when they come into contact with our organisation, whether that's you, someone we care for or the wider community we operate in.

You will put to use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, to ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.
