We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a motivated and passionate Medical Secretary/PA to our friendly Upper GI Team, to provide secretarial and administrative support to two Consultant Surgeons. This is a twelve month fixed-term post to cover maternity leave. The Upper GI Service provides a high level of care and management to patients with diagnoses of cancer and benign conditions.
The post holder will need to possess excellent typing and administrative skills, with previous secretarial experience and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, as well as attention to detail, are also essential in order to meet Trust Targets and tight deadlines. The post holder will work under indirect supervision and will directly contribute to and coordinate the efficient running of the service, ensuring that a seamless approach to patient care is delivered.
