We have new vacancies for enthusiastic Portering Team Leaders to join our Trust. Working a rotating shift pattern, the service operates 24/7 and you will join a team responsible for the effective delivery of the in-house Portering service. This is a great opportunity to develop your skillset within the environment of the NHS.
Portering Team Leaders will take on a variety of tasks, resulting in first-line Management helping and assisting staff members through sickness reviews, appraisals, and a host of in-house training including BOC Medical Gas Training to Fire Marshal training.
You will be responsible for the coordination and monitoring of over 100 Porters and their duties while providing an effective and efficient high-quality Portering service to all clinical and non-clinical areas, offering support and on-the-job training for staff as required and liaising with the Portering Management Team to discuss issues arising from the provision of the Portering Service.
