You will gather and evaluate each child, young person and families' experience of the process to inform improvements to our practice model and be involved in shaping and developing this service in line with agreed objectives. A key part of this role will be the participation and engagement of children, families, and young people in the design and development of our Bairns’ Hoose model.

You should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of best practice and regulatory requirements in the field of child care and young people's services. You must have an understanding of outcome focussed service planning and evaluation.

You must be educated to SCQF Level 9 and be registered with a professional body.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
