Baggage Handler

The Launch Group are currently recruiting for Baggage Handlers known officially as Ramp Agents at Luton Airport.

Salary: £11.64 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work)

Contract: Fixed term until 31st October 2025 with an opportunity to become permanent.

Location: Luton Airport

Driving Licence is required

2. Baggage sorting and transportation

4. Unit load device control
5. Air side driving

10. Organised and can manage time well
11. Physically fit as lifting up to 32kg as required
12. Fluent English speaker
13. Basic - intermediate computer skills

Qualifications & Competencies:

1. Flexible to work a variety of shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and public holidays)
2. Ability to speak and understand the English language
3. Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
4. Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
5. Willingness to work in inclement weather
6. Able to work in a manual handling environment and repeatedly lift up to 32kg throughout a shift
7. Able to work in some confined spaces (aircraft hold)
8. Able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment
9. Hold a full driving licence (depending on operational needs)
10. Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired

Note: Due to airport security checks, you will have to have lived in the UK for the past 5 years.
