JOB TITLE: Backshift Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: St Enoch Centre

PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour

WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 over 7 including weekends

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times, maintain Health and Safety standards, ensure equipment is used, cleaned, maintained and stored correctly, and deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously. This role will also include assisting in a very busy food court, clearing tables, floors, and assisting in customer service.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Working in a very busy food court ensuring high levels of cleaning standards.
2. Ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained daily by completing a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying bins using machinery, as well as cleaning the washrooms/toilets and offices.

• Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
• Awareness of the importance of Health & Safety Policies & procedures
