B1 Lead Licensed Aircraft Engineer

STS Aviation Services is seeking a B1 Lead Licensed Aircraft Engineer, type-rated on 777 and A320, to join our growing operations in Manchester. The successful candidate will oversee Line Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements and Line Maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a defined work zone, coordinating daily tasks and resources to meet targets.
• Certify specific aircraft types.
• Provide technical guidance and support to allocated staff.
• Assist Check Manager with individual development and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Part 66 Licence B1, B2, or B1/B2.
• Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician.
• Strong supervisory skills and commitment to STS core values.
