B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Our client has an opportunity for a B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You'll continue to deliver airworthy and serviceable aircraft to the customer in a fast paced, challenging and real-life operational setting critical to future defence output. You will work on piston engine aircraft, with carbon fibre frames. Training can be provided for any gaps.

Location: Formby, Liverpool
Hours: Full time / Permanent
Security Clearance: BPSS

This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Woodvale however the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.

Responsibilities:

Day to day, you'll work together in collaboration with our customer to provide aircrafts to be used in elementary flying training and air experience flights alongside auxiliary support services such as mechanical transport, air traffic control and airfield fire and crash rescue, as well as:

1. Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.
2. Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs at all times.

Essential Requirements:

1. Supervisory Experience in aviation environment.

Qualifications Required:

1. EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence (or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification)
