Our client has an opportunity for a B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You'll continue to deliver airworthy and serviceable aircraft to our customer in a fast-paced, challenging operational setting critical to future defence output. We work on piston engine aircraft, with carbon fibre frames. Training can be provided for any gaps.

Role: B1.2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Location: Formby, Liverpool
Hours: Full time / Permanent
Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve SC clearance

This is a full-time role based onsite at RAF Woodvale; however, the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with our customer to provide aircraft for elementary flying training and air experience flights.
2. Responsible for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.
3. Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, and all other engineering-related activities and services are provided as required to meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs at all times.

Essential Requirements:

• Supervisory Experience in an aviation environment.

Qualifications Required:

• EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence (or successfully passed a number of modules towards the qualification).
