AWS Data Solutions Architect - London- £120,000 +Bonus

My client is based in the London area and is currently looking to recruit an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join their team. They are one of the leaders within the consulting space and are currently going through a period of growth. They are backed by a huge multi-national equity firm, which is expected to bolster my client's financial position and support year-on-year growth. This growth will allow them to implement and utilize the most in-demand and cutting-edge technology on the market right now, including Gen AI.

Your role will include:

1. Designing and implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data, including Data Lake and Data Warehousing.
2. Assessing database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with GDPR and data regulations.
3. Guiding, influencing, and challenging the technology teams and stakeholders to understand the benefits, pros, and cons of solution options.
4. Agreeing and setting the technical direction for the data platform landscape and solutions, in collaboration with delivery and engineering teams.
5. Engaging in hands-on work that requires extensive exposure to cloud technologies.

The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of writing code, building data pipelines, and performing transformation and ingestion in a specific tech suite.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in implementing solutions around the AWS cloud environment (S3, Snowflake, Athena, Glue).
2. In-depth understanding of database structure principles.
3. Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
4. Excellent understanding of Data Modelling & Kinesis.
5. An understanding of SQL/database management.
6. Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies, preferably around AWS.
