Avionics Production Technician - Farnborough
£40,000 | 4-Day Week | 2-5 Years Experience

• Installation, wiring, and system integration of avionics and mechanical components on UAV platforms
• Manufacturing in-house avionic components as required
• Maintaining detailed build records and ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Conducting system integration and installation tests
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Self-certifying completed work and contributing to process improvements
• Problem-solving and delivering corrective actions to optimize production efficiency

Essential:

• Hands-on experience in avionics/electronic engineering
• Strong knowledge of production and maintenance processes to high-quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with avionic hardware production and wiring installations
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a meticulous, quality-conscious approach

Preferred:

• NVQ Level 3 in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Time-served apprenticeship in avionics/electronic manufacturing, installation, or testing
• Previous experience in the aerospace sector
• IT proficiency relevant to the role
