Role Overview
BDUK is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company and currently employs over 1800 people in the UK. BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK Defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISTAR Services, Through Life Support for the Chinook and Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services.
Typically reporting to an Operations Lead, the Avionic Supervisor role provides direct leadership, control, oversight and supervision of other technicians conducting 1st Signature tasks of the same trade as part of on-aircraft maintenance support to the UK Apache High Readiness Pool (HRP), located at the Main Operating Base (MOB) in Wattisham, Suffolk.
In turn, this role may also undertake 1st Signature tasks and may undertake mentoring of Authority junior technicians (if required). Previous experience in the supervision and control of maintenance tasks and staff, as well as experience maintaining the Apache Air System (AH-64E, AH-64D or Apache AH Mk1), are desired for this role.
