Job Description

Recruiting for a degree qualified Project Manager. Looking for an exciting opportunity in the aviation sector? My client, a leading Civil Infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their project management team delivering a variety of Civil Engineering schemes at Gatwick Airport.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the project delivery and subcontractor management aspects of multiple contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of complex and innovative projects within one of the UK’s busiest airports.

Responsibilities:

Management of multiple teams covering commercial, planning, design, and delivery
Client facing role, attending client meetings
Responsible for project P&L, ensuring costs are regularly monitored across the scheme
Design management
Overseeing and planning works
Reviewing designs, costings, and making any alterations to the programme as required

Requirements:

Degree educated (or equivalent) in civil engineering or construction management
Over 3 years experience of working as a Project Manager on civil engineering projects
Able to plan ahead, and ensure all project delivery requirements are in place
Able to monitor H&S and compliance requirements in accordance with local council regulations
