Recruiting for a degree qualified Project Manager. Looking for an exciting opportunity in the aviation sector? My client, a leading Civil Infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their project management team delivering a variety of Civil Engineering schemes at Gatwick Airport.

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the project delivery and subcontractor management aspects of multiple contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of complex and innovative projects within one of the UK’s busiest airports.

Responsibilities:
  1. Management of multiple teams covering commercial, planning, design, and delivery
  2. Client facing role, attending client meetings
  3. Responsible for project P&L, ensuring costs are regularly monitored across the scheme
  4. Design management
  5. Overseeing and planning works
  6. Reviewing designs, costings, and making any alterations to the programme as required
Requirements:
  1. Degree educated (or equivalent) in civil engineering or construction management
  2. Over 3 years experience of working as a Project Manager on civil engineering projects
  3. Able to plan ahead, and ensure all project delivery requirements are in place
  4. Able to monitor H&S and compliance requirements in accordance with local council regulations
