Aviation Parcel Sorter

This position is for a leading aviation company at East Midlands Airport. As an aviation cargo operative, you will be responsible for handling and processing cargo shipments, ensuring they are processed in a safe and timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient operations. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role. Prior to starting, you will require some aviation security checks to be carried out; this will include us applying for a criminal record check on your behalf.

What you’ll be doing

• Load and unload cargo from aircraft
• Inspect and document cargo for damage
• Organize and store cargo in designated areas
• Coordinate with ground handling staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
