Aviation Claims Broker

Are you a seasoned Aviation Claims professional ready for your next challenge? We’re working on an exciting opportunity to join a leading Wholesale broker in the heart of the City, supporting their dynamic Marine & Aviation division.

This is a Senior Broker position with a focus on aviation claims, covering a diverse portfolio that includes general aviation, aerospace, and a growing airline book. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient claims handling while working closely with internal teams and market counterparts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Managing all classes of aviation claims from cradle to grave
2. Liaising with clients, adjusters, lawyers, and (re)insurers on claim matters
3. Negotiating settlements with underwriters and their representatives
4. Maintaining accurate financial and claims records on internal systems
5. Preparing both standard and bespoke correspondence
6. Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and FCA regulations
7. Supporting the wider Aviation team on trend analysis and policy improvements
8. Contributing to new business acquisition with claims insight and technical support

What We’re Looking For:

1. Previous experience in an aviation claims handling role (essential) ideally 5+ years
2. Proficiency in London Market systems (CLASS, ECF, IMR)
3. Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks including AML, Sanctions, ABC
4. Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
5. Sound judgment and a proactive approach to claims resolution
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and market stakeholders
