Job description

AV Technician

(Basic understanding of sound, visual and audio systems)

Leeds City Centre (travel is required)

£23,800 basic (OTE £28K – 30K)

Company car and fuel card, often travel, pension, bonus scheme, progression, training, childcare vouchers, company events, life assurance

About the role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about AV to join our team. This is a key role in assisting the AV manager to operate sound, audio and occasional lighting systems within a corporate environment. Different levels of experience are welcome as training is provided, depending on previous knowledge of AV.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the AV manager in running live events
  2. Working with projection screens and small PA systems, making sure it is properly set up and everything is running smoothly
  3. Monitoring equipment during live events
  4. Setting up and putting away equipment
  5. Providing on-site technical support

Requirements:

  1. Strong problem-solving abilities as well as the ability to work under pressure
  2. Interest in the live event industry
  3. Hands-on technical knowledge
  4. Able to collaborate and work in a team
  5. Flexibility to work, if called out on short notice
  6. Full UK Driving License
