AV Technician

Due to our continually expanding customer base, we are now looking to add to our team of highly collaborative Audio Visual Technicians.

Working as an AV Technician your prime function is to provide operational support to customers for all aspects of their audio visual, video conference, digital signage and presentation technologies.

The position will provide you a high degree of exposure, working sometimes with executive management and managing directors of key businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video/audio conference setup and support
2. Supporting internal and external events
3. Assisting with support for video/audio conferencing issues; investigating faults and recommending solutions

General AV Meeting Room Support

4. Ensuring all multi-media/presentation rooms are maintained and in good working order
5. AV equipment setup and support
6. Presentation/multi-media meeting room support, including duration support
7. Assisting with support for multi-media broadcasting.
8. Assisting where possible with IT related enquiries and generating escalations

Faults and Room Checks

9. Carrying out regular preventative room checks, ensuring all equipment functions correctly
10. Proactive maintenance/reporting to ensure all AV equipment is always of the highest standard
11. Assisting with first- and second-line fault repairs
12. Undertake all power down/up when required, usually involving out-of-hours overtime commitments

General Duties

13. Advising clients on best practice and providing feedback on communication issues and service improvements
14. Assisting with training of new starters and freelancers.
15. Build and maintain client relationships.
16. Maintaining a good working relationship with global AV/VC/TP counterparts

We are looking for an individual who has solid exposure working as an AV Technician; someone who is comfortable working alone or as part of a team and who possesses first class customer service.
