AV Project Engineer

Zebrec are delighted to offer this role as AV Project Engineer working for our client who is a reputable & leading provider of professional services to their industry of Audio Visual Systems Integration.

Snapshot of Role, Responsibilities & Skills for the AV Project Engineer:

1. System designs for AV, smart building and stage/performance area systems.
2. Production of detailed systems designs, cabling layouts, rack layouts, cable schedules, panel layouts, panel wiring drawings, site integration details.
3. Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
4. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience.
5. AVIXA/InfoComm or relevant smart building technologies training and/or certifications an advantage.
6. Ideally degree or HND level engineering or relevant science qualifications are sought; a strong technical background and experience would be a good substitute.
7. Experience in using Microsoft Applications to at least Intermediate level (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access).
8. Proficient in AutoCAD. REVIT capabilities and experience would be beneficial but not essential.
9. Good understanding of some of the following (additional training can be given): Audio systems - amplifiers, loudspeakers, consoles, paging systems and DSP.
