Job Title: AV Engineer (Contract Role)

Contract Type: Contract / Freelance
Rate: £250 - £300 a day
We are seeking a skilled AV Engineer to join on a contract basis to deliver innovative audiovisual solutions for a variety of projects. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a critical role in designing, installing, and maintaining AV systems that enhance communication and collaboration for our clients.

- System Design & Integration: Assist with designing and deploying AV solutions tailored to client requirements. Handle installation and optimization of AV systems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to AV hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Project Delivery: Manage your time effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Client Interaction: Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they can maximize the use of their AV systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including system diagrams and project documentation, to ensure seamless handovers.
Essential:
- Proven experience in AV engineering, including system design and installation.
- Expertise in AV technologies, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and professional audio systems.
- Strong understanding of signal flow, networking, and system integration.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients.
Desirable:
- Relevant certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I.
- Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD or similar.
- Experience delivering projects in corporate, education, or live-event settings.
