This garage, spearheaded by an experienced management team, is focused on providing exceptional customer service and top-tier vehicle care. They are looking for a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to be a key player in their journey.

Role Overview: As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of this new garage. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring all work meets the highest standards. The management team prioritises customer satisfaction, so strong communication skills and a commitment to quality service are essential. While your main duties will involve vehicle servicing, you may also be required to assist with other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles.
2. Efficiently diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
3. Keep detailed records of all services performed and parts used.
4. Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicle’s condition and any necessary repairs.
5. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations.
6. Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth garage operations.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
2. Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
3. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
