Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles
3. Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems and components
4. Complete necessary repairs, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake repairs, and electrical system repairs
5. Weld and assemble parts as needed
6. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

1. Strong automotive repair skills and experience
2. Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
4. Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
5. Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for automotive repairs
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)
• Journeyman (preferred)
