Job description

Maplecrest Ford Lincoln is seeking Individuals who will be responsible for handling all incoming/outgoing phone calls, as well as confirming service appointments and follow-ups. We are looking for a tenacious individual that seamlessly connects with people with a positive, can-do attitude!

Following is a list of certain minimum required duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with the position, subject to applicable law. This list is not all-inclusive and may be amended or supplemented as business needs dictate.

Duties Include:

  1. Work closely with Service Technicians to determine pricing for repairs and explain the reasoning for repair costs to customers.
  2. Help customers take advantage of repair deals and learn about warranty programs.
  3. Responsible for managing all incoming/outgoing phone and internet service leads.
  4. Setting, confirming, and following up with customer service appointments.
  5. Collaborates with service advisors to schedule service appointments.
  6. Maintains a general understanding of the repair process and explains the process to our customers.
  7. Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
  8. Responding to inquiries in a professional and well-spoken manner.

Qualifications:

  • Communication skills: As a liaison between the customer and technician, a Service Advisor needs to be able to clearly explain the technician’s repair recommendations to customers while communicating customer needs to technicians.
  • Comprehension skills: Service Advisors should be able to comprehend customers' questions and concerns as well as what is being said when technicians give complex service recommendations.
  • Previous Call Center experience preferred.
  • Excellent follow-through skills.
  • Strong computer and phone skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
