Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with experience gained in the Automotive industry seeking a new opportunity to grow your career? ASL Technical are now working with a leading Automotive manufacturer as they look to expand their Manufacturing Operations team with 2 additional engineers to join them.

Responsibilities of Automotive Manufacturing Engineer

The role will have huge levels of variety, but for various new model programmes, you will oversee:

• Vehicle assembly concept
• Starting it in the virtual environment and transitioning to physical validation & delivery
• Process sequencing, documentation, and product traceability methodologies
• PFMEA
• Hours per Car generation & reporting
• Working with Engineering and Operations teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks
• Including running time & motion studies across the plant
• Facility layout & utilisation

Experience / Knowledge for the Automotive Manufacturing Engineer

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Experience of vehicle assembly processes
• End of line vehicle processing / finishing
• Specification and procurement of assembly equipment
